Take advantage of two different ways to test. You can test at an PHTASM national, regional or chapter-sponsored education and testing event. Access a list of upcoming events here.
You can also test at a community college or university in your area. Proctored exams must be taken at an accredited college or university. If you test at a college or university test center, or chapter event, you might have to pay an additional exam proctor fee. Fees vary but typically range from $0 to $40. If you test at a college or university, you are responsible for:
Scheduling an appointment for testing.
Submitting the application at least two weeks before to your exam date to make sure you receive test materials in time.
Providing PHTA University with the name, mailing address and exam date.
PHTASM does not maintain a list of testing centers. We rely on local community colleges and libraries that offer their proctoring services to the general public.

From Our Members
"When I decided to get serious about my family’s pool business, the first thing I did was sign up for the CSPSM course and exam. Right after that, I went for my CBPSM. I knew earning these two certifications was important. It was another thing that helped give my clients confidence that they were working with the right company. I also had more confidence when doing the work or explaining to my team how to do the work. We reference the manuals often while training our team."
